10 Best Juicers (2025): Centrifuge, Slow, Chew

Most universal juicers fall into one of two types. Centrifugal juicer or chewy slow juicer, also known as “cold media.”
one Centrifugal juicer Provides speed and a lot of power. Essentially, it’s kind of like a blender with an add-mesh screen that separates the juice from the pulp. A fast-rotating blade chops the fruit, produces and grinds on a mesh screen, usually at a speed of thousands of spins per minute. No matter what you pass through the mesh, it is juice.
Power and speed average centrifugal juicers are usually caused when processing roots, pineapples, and other harder or denser fiber-type produce, which can pose difficulties for slow spiral augers. Softer fruits like berries or leafy greens are not done well here, providing lower juice yields and even clogging the grid screen. Centrifugal juicers also tend to produce foam juices, given high stirring. That is, rapid spin also makes them very fast.
one Chewing juicer– Sometimes called “slow” or “cold media” juicers are both the latest trend in juice extraction and the older technology. Basically, the slow juicer operates on the same principle as the old-fashioned cider, slowly “chew” and pressing the fruit at a lower rate, and some believe that subjects’ fruits and vegetables will reduce oxidation and heat, thus retaining more basic characteristics.
More explicitly than centrifugal juicers, slow juicers tend to produce higher juice yields and less waste, especially on leafy vegetables, soft fruits and berries. They also add a small amount of foaming and aeration to the resulting juices and produce a more uniform texture effect.
The chewing juicer was once loaded into a horizontal grinder and ramp, which took some effort to require you to participate in the juice throughout the process. Recently, the advent of vertical chewy juicers from South Korea has changed all this – with the juicer working, large hoppers can load, shrug and leave. Most of the juicers we include in our guide and all of our preferred juicers are now slow and chewy juicers.

Of course, chewing and centrifugal juicers can be juices, citrus juices – the added calories in lemon and lemon juice can be delicious. (Actually, this is my preference.) But to avoid this enthusiasm, you would have to peel it before loading into the juice chamber. The easiest way to juice orange juice is always to slice it thinly and press it on the mountain dome of the citrus juicer.
