Tour Edge’s new Exotics Metalwood lineup begins a new chapter

Tour Edge prepares for 40 years in 2026 with the latest iteration of the Exotics Metalwood lineup.
The new Exotics range includes three riders, three fairways and a hybrid, all with new technology from the company, such as the pyramid face technology – as well as the company’s new logo.
With the driver and fairway Woods, Tour Edge also launched a new “Lite” model that expands the growing market segment that requires lighter swing weights to help create launches and speeds.
“We are very proud of these clean, visually appealing head shapes,” said Tour Edge CEO David Glod in a press release. “Combining the visible and in-house technology designed in this lineup, our travel agencies, amateurs and robotics tests have confirmed that these metal woods have achieved great results across a variety of player types and obstacles. We are eager to see how golfers can benefit from the new Exotics Lite Lite drives and Fairways, the easiest option on the market.”
Please continue reading the details below about all metal wood and what I think about this new version.
What is the new Exotics Metalwood series?
Tour Edge’s new Exotics series consists of three riders (LS, Max and Lite), three fairways (LS, Max and Lite) and Max Hybrid products.

All new clubs have a new complete carbon structure that has 50% to 80% more carbon than the previous generation. A new “pyramid face technology” that reduces excess mass of the face and helps improve the ball speed of the eccentric strike; more tungsten is added around the club to increase MOI.
Driver and Fairway Woods also embraced the new “360°Ridgeback technology” with titanium or steel wrapped around the club to strengthen it.
Who is each club?
With the new Exotics series, each club type can be optimized to suit a specific player type.

LS Driver and LS Fairway WowDS: LS driver and fairway wood are the most compact shapes designed for better players, with maximum speed to minimize spin. The driver checked at 440 cc but provided a top-notch MOI of over 8,700. LS Fairway Wood has a complete titanium building with a new Ryzersole, which pushes low weight and forward to promote high launch and low rotation.
Both LS models have adjustable Hoth and front-to-back interchangeable weights for dialing in both launch and rotation characteristics.

Max Drivers, Max Fairway Woods and Max Hybrids: The largest model will be your highly forgiving model, with drivers reaching over 10,500 MOIs and attracting most golfers. The maximum drive also has an adjustable rear weight, adjustable heel-toe CG position and adjustable Hoth. Both fairway wood and hybrid adjustable weight allow for adjustment using 5G to 20g option.

Lite Driver, Lite Fairway Woods: The newcomer to the Exotics lineup is the Lite model, 5% lighter than its siblings, and comes with a 40g shaft and 42g grip for players who need some help generating speed and start. The streamlined model also exudes biased Hoth, a heel-concentrated CG and the most upright lie angle in the home.
My thoughts
The new product line has been a good boost to Tour Edge’s idea of entering a new era, while also being loyal to the idea of bringing it to life for 40 years.
While these new woods have an absolute “tourism edge” look to them, the all-black design, along with a full carbon hug, offers a more advanced appeal.
The driver’s $100 price rises, but at $500, still $100 to $150 less than the drivers of major OEMs, and Tour Edge clearly believes that for the golfer market that doesn’t want to pay more than $500 for a single club.
You can also see some good breakdowns through the model and clearly identify who should play what. Today, almost everyone knows that the “LS” model is targeted at better players, while the growing ultra-lightweight category is well represented by the “Lite” option.
