Honorary mention
We haven’t tried the absolutely nasty vacuum yet. These below are solid vacuum cleaners that are much cheaper than our preferred price in some cases, but we don’t like them much.
Dirt Magic Spin Pet Wireless Stick Vacuum Cleaner, $93: We previously suggested using this as a budget option. This is a good money, but the results are different about how long the battery will last and the build quality.
Eureka Innova cordless rod faceted vacuum for $207: It’s a good stick vacuum at a reasonable price. It’s especially nice to clean up the garbage mat and has specific carpet and hardwood settings. However, to absorb larger pieces, such as Cheerios, I had to lift the vacuum and place it directly on top of them.
Hoover Onepwr shows up for pets for $230: Our testers say this is not a bad vacuum in the regular mode, but the accessory has fragile suction capability. Otherwise, it completes the work.
Mova S1 detects cordless vacuum cleaners for $299: This is a nice great vacuum with a nice set of accessories and works great in my home. However, our preferred choice can do similar jobs for cheap jobs.
$200 $200: I didn’t try the Dyson draft pick above with a green laser, so I was surprised how the green light of this vacuum lighting was like. It’s almost rude to see how much you didn’t notice in regular lighting. However, it takes a lot of passes to really clean most of the debris. As far as the price goes, this is not bad, as there is no limit to everyday vacuum, but you definitely need a stronger upright vacuum for a deeper cleaning.
$228 Worx 20V Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner: It’s a thin enough vacuum, but the bin is hard to clean compared to the others I’ve tested.
How do we test
The best way to test a vacuum is to use it as usual. So for months we have lived in these cordless vacuums, spinning them to handle daily messes and doing weekly deep cleanings on hardwood floors, area carpets and carpets every week. We sued them, asked our partners to use them, and even took some retail stores to retail stores to clean up and cleaned them after antique furniture and a lot of people.
We also conducted in-person tests comparing how everyone picked up Cheerios and Cat trash to see if they blew up debris or needed a few passes. We also picked up already solid dust and dirt from the vacuum bin and watched the vacuum cleaner suck them back in its thickened state.
