MagSafe grips are hardly the only type of mobile phone grip available. In fact, you can buy four other main grips.
Fixture case. These are the situations when held on the back. You get a strong and durable grip that will never fall off, but the tradeoff is a thicker phone that is usually incompatible with wireless charging and may not work with other MagSafe accessories.
Fixture grip. These fixtures are also called universal phone grips so that you can easily touch and close it, and are not limited to specific phones. The downside is that they are not the fastest contact and closure, and can sometimes slide up and down the phone.
Adhesive. You can hold your phone on the back of your phone or box, and while this will usually give you a good grip, it may not fall off the phone, the drawbacks are similar to those with an attached grip. It may block features like wireless charging and limit your use of other accessories.
magsafe grip. These grips are all about convenience. You can easily remove and close them, but they only work with devices or boxes with built-in magnets. While you can hang your phone in the case of MagSafe grip without any problem, any extra force can cause the magnet to separate the phone and throw it to the ground.
