Stan Van Gundy’s prediction for Knicks V Pistons playoff series

The Knicks will play the Pistons in the first round of the playoffs, and Stan Van Gundy speaks honestly about their chances.
He thinks New York might find itself at the end of an uphill battle and played a seven-game series with the Body Pistons.
“They’re really good on the defensive end,” Van Gundy said in the New York Post. “They bounced off the ball. Look, that team can match New York. I think it’s going to be a tough series. I’m not a good predictor, but I think the game in that series will be tough. … I’ll probably take the Knicks in seven games.”
Van Gundy continued: “I don’t think the two teams are separated too much. [Damian] Lillard was there, completely different. I’ll still take the Knicks, but now I think it’s going to be a competitive series. ”
Unlike Van Gundy, others believe that New York will not be better than before.
“I don’t think they’re good enough to get into the second round,” O’Neal said. “That’s just me.”
James Edwards III of sports tends to agree.
“It’s hard to beat a good team, let alone New York like the Celtics, three and four times,” Edwards wrote. “The Knicks hope that basketball is the most important time, when the Knicks can surpass the Detroit Pistons or the Milwaukee Bucks in the first round of the playoffs and get another rift in Boston. Currently, everyone in New York hopes… hope… what Hope hops of Boston will meet mentally will match them, and if they can beat them with them, they will meet a dance of defense, and if they get on the hygiene, they will be on the hygiene.
The Knicks’ top three teams in the NBA are 0-10:
With the Celtics (0-4)
With the Cavaliers (0-4)
With Thunder (0-2)
