Buffy predicts the future of the character by 100% wrongly

Buffy Vampire Slayer Show host Joss Whedon is known for planning the main storyline in advance…for example, before Season 5 introduces Season 3, heralds the existence of Buffy’s sister Dawn. However, in the early stages of the show, there was a blatant example of how Whedon rarely thought of Angel’s love life. In the episode “Halloween” of Season 2, Willow guarantees Buffy (not to mention the audience), the vampire will never date Cordelia, but the two end up falling in love on the spin-off show Angel.
Why did the killer talk about Cordelia and Angel first? At the beginning of “Halloween”, she was late for dates with biting Boy because she had to put down some of his companions. This gave Cordelia time to hit the angel on the bronze medal, causing Buffy to worry that she wasn’t the kind of woman that the centuries-old boyfriend really liked.

When watching Halloween for the first time, it is hard to say to Willow: “Anges will never fall [Cordelia’s] Behavior. “Buffy’s witch friend assured her that “she is not his type”, but Buffy began to worry that she is not his type.
back BuffyCordelia’s season three leaves Sunnydale to join Angel in Los Angeles. this Angel Over the years, the derivatives have presented titular roles with multiple girlfriends, but are even more surprising than Cordelia. She started working with Angels since Season 1 and their business relationship quickly grew into a practical friendship.
For most AngelOur title roles and Cordelia were just friendly, but changed after Buffy’s death. Cordelia helped Angel deal with the trauma of killer death, and they realized (and frustratingly, Frustrating Slowly) they have feelings for each other. Sadly, the show never really explored their relationship as she was taken to a taller plane by Jasmine, and Jasmine is back, and a villain’s worst writing in all Whedonverses becomes even more terrifying.

From a TV perspective, it’s not surprising that Angel and Cordelia fall in love, even if only briefly… After all, TV shows only so many years of TV shows can hang hot leading characters in front of us and then make a couple. But, a little shocking, Willow is a wise and magical character, and that’s the possibility of Angels hooking up with Cordelia. Even more shocking is that Joss Whedon rejects the possibility of the most notorious relationship of the spin-off.
certainly, Angel When Willow makes the predictions, the derivatives don’t exist, so neither she nor Whedon can guess that the Vampire and Cordelia will be the protagonists destined to be sloppy romance. Another reason to go easy on Willow’s incorrect predictions is that even witches like her don’t see the future… Of course, the angels who nailed Buffy for Buffy in Season 2 were never likely to be stuck for the short Cordelia, but by the time they fell in love, both characters changed dramatically. Willow himself changed dramatically in less time because of homosexuality and falling in love with Tara.
It turns out that Joss Whedon is easy to predict the little sisters, but predicting the affairs of the heart (magical or otherwise) is not easy.
