Luna is a robot dog version of Swedish AI company Intuicell. But despite what it looks like is its predecessor, Luna has something they don’t have: a functional digital nervous system called “physical proxy AI.”
Although most AI models rely on existing data to build knowledge, physical proxy AI allows robots to learn by experiencing and adapting to their environment, just like how humans and other informants learn. Intuicell said the robots could be sent to explore the environment of distant planets in space.
Although Luna is still learning to perform basic tasks, thanks to a certified dog trainer, Intuicell said the next step will be to apply physical proxy AI to robots similar to humans.
