German Catholic Initiative calls for continued reform process
The Catholic Reformers in Germany called for the opening process of the church initiated by Pope Francis, which continued after his death.
“For the past 12 years, Pope Francis has opposed all oppositions, especially within the Vatican, and fundamentally, the Roman Catholic Church has changed a lot more than many expected.” We are the church group announced in Munich on Monday.
With the global participation and voting rights at the church’s grassroots level in the conferences not only include bishops, Francis initiated a “turning point in the history of the church” that is expected to prove that it is irreversible, they say, hours after teaching capacity.
“His successors and all of us must continue his reform curriculum more intensely,” the organization said in a statement.
Francis died on Easter Monday morning at 88.
