Lizzo reveals dietary changes that help achieve her weight goals

The 36-year-old “About Damn Time” singer gave fans insight into her diet and exercise habits during a Tiktok live broadcast on Tuesday, April 22.

Lizzo revealed that she used to drink “2 to three” Starbucks drinks a day, and she estimated she drank about 12,000 calories a day. The singer said she realized how many calories she consumed, gave up on Starbucks every day, and giving up on coffee also helped “regulate my nervous system” people.

As for her daily diet, Lizzo said she started her day in a “super salty” way with “sweet stuff” written on it.

“I do something sweet. It’s something like carbs. I’ll love almond butter and toast,” she said.

“So, everyone’s body is different. Find out what works for you,” she added. He noted that it’s important to consider “calories versus calories relative to calories”.

“That’s how the human body works,” she said.

In a video shared on Tuesday via Tiktok, Lizzo shows off one of her healthy meals: bison meatballs, rice, peas and cabbage.

In January, Lizzo celebrated her goal weight and two years later she embarked on a journey of “deliberately” changing her body.

“I did it,” the Grammy Award winner wrote via Instagram. “Today, when I stepped onto the scale, I reached my weight release goal.”

She added: “I haven’t seen this number since 2014! Let this remind you that you can do anything you think about. It’s time to achieve a new goal!”

Lizzo revealed in a follow-up post that she has dropped 16% of her body fat since January 16, 2023 and has reduced her body mass index by 10.5.

“I’m actually on a deliberate weight loss journey right now,” she said in another Instagram story video. “Even at the end of my weight loss journey, I’m not going to be considered thin in any way. Lizzo added in the singing, “Tell you I’ll come across like this. You don’t know I can touch like this. Let this remind you to do whatever you set your mind. Now, I think it’s time to set new goals.”
