Today’s NYT mini crossword game is very simple. 9-actross – “Dog” clue – a little groaning, but I’ll give a simple answer to a witty yet confusing clue. The 4-down pair is a bit confusing, but once I fill in the other letters, it makes sense. (Texas and Iowa could have fitted 5 actoss and 8-actoss, and a T could be replaced in each answer.)
