In fact, it was the second straight start that Glasnow forced him out in the fifth inning of his last outing on April 20.
Even as a precaution, Glasnow may have made it into the 15-day injury list, creating another wrinkle in the revolving door, which is the Dodgers spin. Roberts announced earlier today Tony Gonsolin Wednesday’s game is expected to be activated from 15 days of IL, marking the long-awaited return to action after Gonsoline’s surgery after Tommy John later in the 2023 season. Gongneng has replaced Blake Snelldue to shoulder inflammation, he put it on the shelf.
Los Angeles has been dealing with seemingly endless pitching wounds in recent years, although the team’s huge amount of weapons (and its star-studded roster) continues to keep the Dodgers victorious. If Glasnow fails, they will have to dip into that depth again, although it will be a few weeks before Clayton Kershaw Eligible to activate from 60-day IL. Kershaw will begin two Triple-A rehabilitation this week as the Future Hall of Fame hopes to be in the final upgrade phase of his 2025 debut.
