Webb Simpson, Nico Echavarria from Myrtle Beach Classic

Webb Simpson and Nico Echavarria have withdrawn from the Myrtle Beach Classic, the PGA Tour announced Monday.
There is no reason to withdraw.
Nick Watney and Jonathan Byrd were confirmed to replace Simpson and echavarria respectively, while Chesson Hadley secured a publicly restricted sponsor draft pick at the Dunes Golf and Beach Club in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina on Thursday.
Simpson, 39, won the 2012 U.S. Open and was seven times on the PGA Tour. He is currently ranked 380 in the world’s official golf rankings. His most recent wins were in the 2020 RBC Legacy and the 2020 WM Phoenix Open.
Echavarria, 30, is the two-time champion of the PGA Tour. The Colombian is currently ranked 49th in the official world golf rankings.
