Epic has submitted Fortnite to the US App Store
Epic has been officially submitted Fortnite Go to the Apple App Store in the United States. If the game returns, this will be the first of the Great Royal Shooter that will be available on iOS devices in nearly five years.
This happened after the judge ruled that Apple must stop charging purchases made outside the App Store. Epic celebrates the ruling by announcing Fortnite’s Looming returns, and changes to its sales platform for developers and publishers. The company does not charge publishers any kind of commission for the first $1,000,000 earned annually from the app.
Additionally, Epic announced the formation of an independent web store, providing developers with another way to avoid Apple’s high app store fees. These stores are powered by the Epic Games store and provide a platform for “buy out of purchase, as an alternative to more cost-effective app purchases.” It also announced higher epic rewards when using its proprietary payment system.
EPIC CEO Tim Sweeney said the company will return games to the global app store as long as Apple extends the court’s ruling globally. We don’t know where Apple is, but the company did appeal the ruling and filed an emergency motion to demand that the federal appeals court stop any changes to how the App Store operates and charges fees.
Apple’s stay-on motion is the last ditche to stop competition and withdraw large amounts of garbage fees, at the expense of consumers and developers.

Epic responded to the move, calling it “a final ditch effort to stop competition and make up for a large amount of garbage fees at the expense of consumers and developers.” Some companies (such as Spotify) have submitted updates that allow our customers to pay outside the app store.
Additionally, a group of developers united to file a class action lawsuit against Apple. The lawsuit claimed that Apple lost a lot of money because it failed to comply with the original court order, which ordered it to stop charging the App Store’s purchases made within the App Store.
