Nike’s $900 workout shoes with compression and heating shoes next week

The warm-up compression shoes that Nike and Hyperice appeared at CES 2025 are more than just a concept. HyperBoot will be purchased online in North America in just one week for $899.

The high wearable style Nike and Hyperice says is as wearable as your smartwatch, helping your feet warm up and recover after workouts. Footwear available on May 17 can use heating and air compression massage techniques in shoes, using heating pads and compressing socks and making them move.

CNET’s former mobile senior writer Lisa Eadicicco has the opportunity to try these shoes in January. “You can definitely feel the heat here,” Eadicicco said at the time, walking through the Las Vegas demonstration room in weird footwear.

Boots massage and compress your ankles and feet, and in the CNET test we can especially feel the heat around our ankles. The buttons on the shoes allow you to adjust the amount of compression and the heat for each setting.

“The HyperBoot contains a system of a double empty bladder system that provides sequential compression modes and bonds to a heat-efficient heating element that distributes heat evenly throughout the upper of the shoe,” Nike said.

The battery lasts 1 to 1.5 hours at maximum heating and compression settings, and if you use only the massage settings, it can last 8 hours. Charging via USB-C cable takes 5 to 6 hours. Boots are available in five sizes: S, M, L, XL and XXL.
