Leo called on journalists to end a polarized “verbal war” made of partisan and ideological attacks, rather than giving room for fanaticism and hatred.
Leo also called for the release of journalists for their work as he was spoken by thousands of media members from around the world, covering his election and the death of his predecessor.
He added that AI must be used for “responsibility and discernment.”
