House GOP’s tiny Spanish tweet sparks a lot of magazines lose their temper
Conservatives slammed online on Tuesday as House Republicans’ official account on X (formerly Twitter) dared to share a post written in Spanish.
“We speak English here” is a joint response from angry right-wing critics.
Some commenters questioned whether the House Republican meeting’s account had been hacked, while others were angry and demanded that the person in the position be fired.

Rep. Brandon Gill (R-Texas) led the right-wing angry chorus, and the post said: “Is this a joke, @housegop? We are in the United States. We represent Americans. We do not use foreign languages. Speak English.”
Several accounts refer to President Donald Trump’s executive order, designating English as the official language of the United States.
This is the closure of the Spanish version of the Spanish version within hours of his government’s return to office.
@housegop’s account has faced similar opposition before the Spanish release, most notably after congratulating “President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance” after the inauguration in January.
