5 biggest bombshells from Diddy’s trial – from Cassie Ventura’s testimony to “freaks”

  • Cassie Ventura testified about his sexual assault during Sean Diddy’s criminal trial.

  • The comb was prosecuted, including allegations of sexual trafficking in Ventura and another woman who asked not to be named.

  • These are the five biggest revelations so far.

R&B singer Cassie Ventura (ex-girlfriend of Sean “Diddy” Combs and a catalyst for the fall of the public) announced witnesses in the first week of his criminal trial, describing the years of abuse she suffered in her 11-year relationship.

In September 2024, Combs was arrested for federal conspiracy, sex trafficking and traffic prostitution after months of lawsuits and public charges of sexual assault and other misconduct.

Ventura filed a lawsuit in November 2023, months before criminal charges, accusing the hip-hop tycoon of being raped, physically abused and controlled her in a relationship. A day later, Combs settled her civil lawsuit. She now tells the story side of the story at Combs’ federal trial.

The comb denies all wrongdoing. The music tycoon argues through his defense team that all sexual intercourse is one, that any violence is far from trafficking, and that his accuser has a violent motivation to implicate.

“The government has no place in his private bedroom,” Teny Geragos, a defense attorney for Comms, said in his opening remarks.

Federal prosecutors claim that with the help of a faithful inner circle, Comb has run a decade-long criminal business involving sexual trafficking of two women, including Ventura, and coercing other women to commit sexual acts.

This is by far the most compelling moment in the trial.

In her second-day testimony at Ventura, she told jurors that the Comb paid $20 million in 2023 to resolve the civil lawsuit against him.

Ventura testified that she had “spinned” and suffered a “terrible flashback” in 2023, causing her to once try to walk out of the door. Ventura said she was stopped by her husband and went to trauma therapy and recovered from drugs and began writing a book about her experience.

Ventura said she wrote the book so that the comb could read it and understand the pain he caused to her, but it wasn’t serious when it was sent to the rapper.

Later, she filed a lawsuit against the comb.

Ventura said of her book: “I want to be compensated in time, pain, years to solve my life.”

Ventura said she hopes to get $30 million from the comb to buy the right to her book.

“I really didn’t do any research. I just chose a number that I felt would remind him.”

Ventura’s comb dated from 2007 to 2018 is one of the main witnesses in the prosecution case. She described the “freak” at the heart of the comb as prosecutors, drug-driven sex performances, saying the combs were arranged, directed and often recorded electronically.

Prosecutor Emily Johnson told jurors in his opening speech on May 12 that the comb used “lie, drugs, threats and violence to force and force” Ventura, and later anonymous Jane Doe, for several days. The comb also calls these events “wild nights” and “hotel nights.”

Johnson said the comb teaches Ventura “to violate him and often ends with violence” because he beat her cruelly because she was slight perceived crime.

“He beat her when she didn’t answer the phone when she called. He beat her when she left the freak without his permission. He beat her when he thought she had spent too long in the bathroom.”

When Ventura picked up her position on May 13, she also testified that the argument with a comb regularly led to physical abuse.

On May 14, Ventura described six comb attacks that caused injuries, and in 2009, the worst beating in Los Angeles occurred after a party comb was held at a club called “Ace of Diamonds.”

Ventura said she called her a “slut or bitch” to have her face combed after talking to the record producer. She said the comb retaliated in the back seat of the driver’s luxury car, and went to the rapper’s rented mansion with punches and kicks Ventura for a full ten minutes.

Ventura said she escaped the attack by hiding under her back seat.

“I tried to cover my face,” Ventura said. “Because Sean stepped on it with his feet.”

Ventura says she joined Diddy’s freak first.

Ventura testified on May 13 that she was nervous at first but felt responsible for taking part in the freak of the comb.

Ventura told the jury: “I’m just in love and want him to be happy.”

Ventura testified that in 2007, Combs first proposed: “He called it a voyeuristic sexual contact, and he would watch me have sex with a third person, especially another man.”

She said: “If I say it scares me, or I don’t want to upset him except say something, ‘Okay, let’s try it out.’

In his opening speech, the prosecutor said Combs eventually led Ventura’s job to find and book escorts to participate in a sex marathon.

“Once once a week, happening once a week. That means, almost half a week, Cassie is in a dark hotel room, awake high for a few days, having sex, and she doesn’t want to do it in a male escort,” Johnson said.

Ventura testified on Tuesday that the combs urinate during the freak discount and requested an escort.

“It’s really disgusting. Too much. It’s overwhelming,” she said. “I choked.”

In May 2024, CNN published surveillance videos from the now closed InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles in 2016, where combs can be seen physically attacking Ventura.

The video shows that the comb drags his then-girlfriend to the corridor. He grabbed Ventura’s back, threw her down, kicked her twice, dragging her body to the floor. After the video leak, Combs posted a video on Instagram to apologize for his actions, but later deleted his apology.

At the COMBS trial, prosecutors showed the videotape to jurors and said the attack had a freak.

Johnson told the jury at the opening ceremony that he ended up paying $100,000 in security to the hotel in exchange for videotape.

Johnson said the comb, his bodyguard and his chief of staff went out of their way to get what they believed to be the only copy of the video.

“This is far from the only time the defendant’s inner circle has tried to shut down the rankings and carry out damage control,” Johnson said.

March 2024, the Ministry of Homeland Security Raid Combs in Los Angeles and Miami Houses. Later that year, Combs’ indictment said law enforcement caught “more than 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant” during the raid.

In his testimony, Ventura said that the bottles of Johnson’s baby oil and astrocyte bottles were used as lubricants in the freak.

“We pour it on our body and it has to shine,” Ventura said. “It’s always heated. Just like covering the lid, we’ll put it in the sink with hot water and heat it up.”

Ventura sometimes tells jurors during the freak discount that the comb will order her to apply more baby oil.

“He would say, ‘You’re too dry, you need to apply more oil, or ‘You need to sparkle, you need to shine.’”

Ventura testified that the freak discount would be “super irritating” due to all the oil, smell and candles.

“There is oil on the walls, door handles, beds, sheets,” she said.
