“Wednesday” Season 2 promises more Adams family antics

Jenna Ortega remains a star. The show is still called Wednesday. But Tim Burton’s Netflix hit season two will expand its focus to focus more on Wednesday’s infamous family, and the cast that plays other Addams will never be excited again. Catherine Zeta-Jones, who plays Morticia, can even show off her sword skills, and while we’re not sure how that will fit into the show’s new mysteries, we’re even more excited to see it show up now.
New features shared by Netflix offer the seductive teasing of Season 2, talking to Ortega, Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán (Gomez) and more, including executive producers and directors of Burton, about what’s going to happen.

Co-presenter and creators Miles Millar and Alfred Gough promise more of the “Addams Family Lore”, as well as an expanded range and character arc. We will also see more of Nevermore Academy, the cursed boarding school Wednesday, whose brother Pugsley (Isaac Ordonez) is also now a student (according to Burton, “displaced people”).
We also caught a glimpse of Joanna Lumley as Grandmama, showing a tall-looking camp show.
Wednesday Season 2 is divided into two parts, arriving on August 6 and September 3.
