After tacos, the fight closed early and reopened according to new guidelines on Sunday

Columbus, Ohio (WCMH) – Organizer Hugo Albornoz confirmed that the tacos were closed earlier Saturday.

Taco Fest founder and executive director Albornoz said Goodale Park’s event was shut down due to the safety of its guests when it was scheduled to end at 10 p.m. Although the festival will be conducted according to different guidelines, those with the remaining tickets on Saturday will be able to use on Sunday, Ornoz said.

Albornoz said attendees with only immediate family members aged 21 or under 10 will be accepted at Sunday’s event. He said they will also add more security to protect attendees. The festival has required all minors to accompany adults, but the New Regulations attorneys are among teenagers and teenage participants.

This is the second consecutive year that Taco Fest has had to close early due to the fight on Saturday. Last year, the Taco Festival was shut down after a large number of teenagers became violent, and the radio run described “a battle of 20 to 50 people.” Last year, the fight led organizers to impose an age limit of over 18 years after 7 p.m. on holiday Sunday.

Two blocks away from North High Street, dispatchers said Columbus police tried to close the festival. The dispatcher did not confirm the link between the two incidents, and Albornoz said he knew nothing about it because it did not happen on the scene.
