Crypto Investor Arrested for Kidnapping and Torturing Italian Tourists

A conceited investor from Kentucky was arrested in New York City after being accused of kidnapping and torture of Italian tourists this week. The alleged victim, a 28-year-old man, was reportedly detained after being disbanded from the Ritzy Nolita apartment in Woeltz and told them a nearby traffic agent that he had been imprisoned in the investor’s mat for two weeks. News media reported that traffic officials quickly reminded police that the latter arrested Walz.
The New York Post wrote that the alleged victim has been hospitalized since then, and authorities declined to be named, initially meeting Walterz at his expensive apartment on May 6 after tourists arrived in the city. Soon after, the man was allegedly trapped in weeks of hardship, and he was subjected to terrifying techniques of torture. Some media reported that the victim was Walz’s former business partner.
CNN wrote that Woeltz was arraigned Saturday morning and was charged with assault, kidnapping, illegal imprisonment and criminal firearms. He was released without bail.
Much of the content about criminal cases is not yet clear. The New York Times reported that a 24-year-old Beatrice Folchi, also was arrested along with Woeltz and charged with kidnapping and illegal jail. But, not long after, Folch was apparently seen on the streets of New York and told The New York Post that she was not arrested. “Everything will be told, but with a lawyer – I can’t comment at the moment,” Folch told the media, another man identified by the police as an “unknown man” was also believed to have participated in the torture. Don’t know who this person is or where they might be.
Shortly after the victim allegedly arrived at the apartment, Walz was accused of stealing the man’s passport and cell phone. Woeltz and another unidentified male allegedly asked the victim about his password for his crypto wallet. When the man refused to hand it over to them, police said they began to imprison and torture him through various horrific and demonic methods, according to multiple media outlets.
Police found themselves in the apartment of a man who was kidnapped and tortured, according to the New York Post. In the photo, the man can be seen tied with electrical tape while an image, the post pointed to his head, the Post wrote. Police also retrieved the gun from the apartment. Sources interviewed by the Post claimed other information about the so-called torture experienced by tourists. Those allegations that raise hair include:
Since being captured, tourists have been tied to wires, their feet were hit in water, pistols whipped, forced to take cocaine and threatened to cut his limbs with an electric chain saw, sources said. Sources say the nightmare broke out in disputes over cryptocurrencies, with the suspect allegedly trying to blackmail millions of dollars from the person by freeing a bunch of horrible torture.
When Gizmodo commented on Friday, the NYPD’s public information provided only the following statement: “On Friday, May 23, 2025, about 937 hours near Mulberry Street and Prince Street, a 28-year-old victim approached a traffic agent and reminded him that he was the victim of the attack.” Gizmodo also contacted Woeltz’s attorney.
