We gave AirPods 4 with ANC. Apple improves audio quality compared to previous versions, and the earbuds are better than the AirPods 3 accessories. We think ANC is also effective. However, the lack of in-car volume control is still disappointing.
AirPods 4 uses the same H2 chip as the AirPods Pro 2, which means they share certain features with high-end models. They support voice isolation, personalized spatial audio, with dynamic head tracking, personalized volume and adaptive equations. The ANC enabled model also has conversational awareness, adaptive audio and transparency modes. Additionally, the charging case that comes with the ANC version has wireless charging that is compatible with QI, as well as built-in speakers to find mine. However, there is no advanced hearing health feature of the AirPods Pro 2 here.
