Food influencer Nathan Aguilera faces skull surgery after accident

Food Influencers Nathan Aguilera He suffered serious injuries due to a crash and is outside of recovery.
Aguilera, known online as @foodieflashpacker, was going back with friends when he was hit by a car in May. Aguilera claims his wallet was stolen in the incident in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

Aguilera claims he was initially taken to a public hospital and was denied care before being diagnosed with cerebral hemorrhage and ruptured skull. Then he was sent home. Aguilera underwent an emergency brain surgery a few days later.
“After they remove the skull, you can scan the swelling outside the skull on CT,” friend Miranda Augusta Recall the exit.
His skull is re-rooted before he has undergone his final surgery – the skull is being transported from Puerto Vallata to Merida, Mexico, where Aguilera will receive additional treatment. After the operation, Aguilera will receive another year of recovery.
Since then, Aguilera’s loved ones have established a GoFundMe to raise funds to cover their various medical expenses, including caregivers’ support and long-term rehabilitation, which have amassed over $28,000 of the $50,000 target.
Although his friends and family were encouraged by his progress, they reminded his followers that his path forward was still long, which would “take months or even years” and be subject to physical, verbal and occupational therapy.

If people start thinking, ‘He will be better,’ they may stop caring,’ the message reads. “It will be devastating because his 100% better – he has just begun a very long and difficult recovery process (while surprised us all on his journey to healing). ”
GoFundMe continues: “We have to stay engaged and understand the full picture: Nathan still faces significant obstacles, including another major surgery, medical transport, and without continuing support, his chances of proper recovery may pose risks.
