New York Rangers have acquired defensemen Scott Morrowand first and second round picks from the 2026 NHL Draft from the Carolina Hurricanes in exchange for defensemen K’andre Miller.
Morrow, 22, was named the AHL’s top prospect team in 2024-25, and he recorded 13 goals and 26 assists in 52 games against the Chicago Wolves, with 39 points. He also played 14 regular season games with the Hurricanes, scoring 1 goal and 5 assists, and played 5 games in the Stanley Cup playoffs.
Morrow is a Darien, Connecticut man who made his NHL debut with Carolina at the end of the 2023-24 season after his junior season at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. He was originally the second round pick for the Hurricanes at the 2021 NHL Draft.
