Why are golfers angry at Phil Mickelson’s Tiger Slayer club?

welcome! Where are you asking? I called this on weekend 9. Think of it as a place to heat you on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We will have ideas. We will have tips. We will have tweets. But overall, although sometimes more, sometimes even less. As for who I am? The following paragraph tells some stories. I can get in touch nick.piastowski@golf.com.
I’m fine, I like to think. I’m very happy with you. I lead the field with Yeses. For the most part, I’m only troubled by small things like a high shot (which is indeed the worst) or a drink car that appears on the 18th hole (which is actually the worst).
But sometimes, your tee shot is too close to the team in front of you.
Sometimes one player in the group goes back to your ball. And pick it up. and place it in the tree on the right.
Sometimes you turn to your group and ask, “Did the player in front of us just walk towards my ball, pick it up and put it into the tree on the right?” They tell you that the player will definitely do that. Brush it out almost all the time. But a few years ago, the scene lingers with me. I shouted at the players. The player shouted. Things aren’t ugly, but they aren’t pretty either – all of them are stupid, I regret it, nothing can make me repeat.
But I’m not alone. A few days later, in an article on my clean web page, I asked readers about similar stories – three years later, I still receive occasional messages. This week, when the latest golf course video surfaced, it was an immediate thought—a former hockey professional who threw around an angry player in front of him—an editor in our staff member, Slack Channel, wanted to know:
“Is there a trend for casual golfers? Or does everyone have a camera in their pocket now?
“All the business in BC, we give professional golfers to be mean people, we have some jobs to do our own job.”
Better. This is my idea. ClearlyI feel angry – although the tension does boil, just make a loud noise and keep moving forward. I think partly what happens is our eternal interest in sensation and then the battle videos, like clubs and clubs, make the videos captured by pros worse than they are. But there is also a passion spread that attracts interest in more dust. Nowadays, everyone seems to be a little angry.
But I think similar outbreaks have appeared in previous generations, and nothing is too common.
Again, I’m fine. Maybe a little naive.
Let’s see if we can find eight items in Weekend 9.
The harvest of the week and the next few weeks
2. As the Ryder Cup begins nearing the unit weeks (and 11 weeks!), the biennial activity naturally surfaces, although it is actually focused on one person:
Here is your Keegan Bradley Ryder Cup for your comments
go through:
Sean Zak
Captain America.
Who could be an American player?
Or Captain America.
As recorded, Keegan Bradley is an interesting place. Since he was appointed to lead American last year, he said he would play on the team only if he was six automatic qualifiers — he is now ninth. But isn’t that good enough? What would happen to the captain if he thought it was? Did Bradley stay on the scene? Is the deputy captain responsible? Did Tiger Woods be summoned? (Imagine the Bethpage scene.)
Rory McIlroy said Friday he believed Bradley should play. He said he is one of the 12 best Americans in the United States. He said the United States would be better.
But McIlroy’s other idea about the captain is the most interesting. Asked whether this is different in the United States than in Europe, this led to this response:
“Yes, I think they gave the captain – definitely a different point of view. It does feel like a team led by the US and obviously we are the players of the European team, but we do have a figurehead in Luke [Donald]. I think this is very important. I think even back to Rome, when the Americans walked a pretty tough start, I think it was because of Zach [Johnson] Giving teams so much ownership, no one needs to look for. They look at each other instead of having a focus, please tell us what to do. Europe did a very, very well. And the players also allow the captain to become the captain. ”
The insight is great, and so is the criticism. Is he? Two years ago, could someone use someone to “see” in the United States? perhaps. But the player-friendly approach works well for Americans in 2021.
I think this sentence will add a few more times in the next few months.
A story from the weekend
2025 Evian Championship: TV schedule, streaming, how to watch, tee time
go through:
Kevin Cunningham
3. The proper rankings took shape at the Evian Championship, where 16 players were leading or better five goals.
The list includes the world’s second-largest Jeeno Thitikul. Minjee Lee, who won KPMG women’s PGA last month. And Lottie Wood, still an amateur, is the next big thing in all respects.
The world’s number one. Nelly Korda is five defenders.
However, the leader is on some kind of heater. Somi Lee won her last race, Team Racing Championship. In the four previous games, she released three top 10.
Reports on Saturday and Sunday start at 4 a.m. ET.
A story in the coming weeks
4. According to the EIN Presswire story (you can read it in full here), Emmy Award-winning producer and marketing executive are trying out a 10,000-hour program to try to compete in a professional competition. The idea of the program promoted by author Malcolm Gladwell shows that if you use 10k hours for activities, you will find expertise.
At least one person, a man named Dan McLaughlin, who had tried it for golf, posted a blog about his journey under the title “Dan Plan” – but hasn’t posted since 2017.
“People think they’re too late, too busy or too far. I want to break the lie,” Baghdad Sarian said in the story.
Weekend instructions
5. I think this is a good thing for Xander Schauffele, who was asked this week what he learned about himself when he tried to regain form after suffering a rib injury:
Xander Schauffele’s frustrating season gives him 1 problem
go through:
Josh Schrock
“Well, I know I’m stubborn. I don’t know if I’ve learned a little. But I’m not sure. I think – you know, no – I don’t feel stressed. I’m very upset about the way I play. I’m just really looking at me in that mentality, I’m looking at when and when I’ll be good.
“You know, there is no need for bipolarity. Just let me shoot 80 people, I really don’t want anyone to watch me in the class, like that kid’s shot 80 times. I don’t care.
Another tip for the weekend
6. The latest round of video shows LeBron James playing one of his first round of golf games in this week’s “Golf” game – this week’s “UP and Adams Show”, with Jordan Spieth giving him a 30-yard tip.
“It’s him having more wrists to use,” Spieth said. “So, he’s just going–if he let that club float a little, he’s going to wave his wrist a little while he goes back. To guide him, I think he’ll be very excited about it.”
