Kim Jong-un said he would “unconditionally support” the Russian war, a report he sent 30,000 troops to Ukraine

Kim Jong-un promises to “unconditionally support” everything Russia fights against Ukraine.
-
This was in a report in early July where he wanted to send 30,000 soldiers to Ukraine.

Meanwhile, North Korea is estimated by Seoul to have provided 12 million shells to Russia.
North Korean leader Kim Jong Un said on Sunday that he was all involved in the war between Russia and Ukraine.
The Pyongyang Foreign Ministry wrote that Kim Jong Il met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, during which the two leaders promised to “strengthen strategic and tactical cooperation” between their countries.
King said he was “willing to support all measures taken by the Russian leader to the fundamental solution to the situation in Ukraine”.
CNN reported on July 2 that it was a Ukrainian intelligence assessment and a report by a Western official who asked not to be named, including information that North Korea is planning to send 25,000 to 30,000 soldiers to Russia.
Such new fighter jets would exceed the presence of Triple North Korean infantry in the war, up from the initial soldiers who fought for Russia in Kursk. The West estimates that 6,000 North Korean troops were killed or injured.
However, the Japan Times reported on Sunday that Ukraine’s Intelligence Agency (GUR) said there was “no information” on Pyongyang’s plan to increase its Russian troops to 30,000.
GUR’s news team did not respond to requests for comments sent by business insiders during regular working hours.
More likely expansion is the 6,000-member Sergei Shogu, secretary of the Russian Security Council, said North Korea has promised to Kursk.
Shogu said in June that at least 1,000 of them will be sapers, while another 5,000 will help build.
Meanwhile, top Russian officials have been traveling frequently to meet with Kim Jong Il. According to Russian media reports, Shoigu visited Kim at least in the three months in early summer.
The partnership between the two increasingly isolated countries has both South Korea and the West. Seoul’s intelligence agency said on Sunday it believes Pyongyang has provided Russia with about 12 million 152mm shells that can fill about 28,000 transport containers.
By contrast, the United States said in March that it had sent about 3 million 155mm shells since the war began in 2022.
In exchange for his troops, ammunition and weapons, the Kim government is reportedly getting food, cash, battlefield experience and technical assistance for its space and weapons programs.
