Scottie Scheffler won 153 open titles with 17 shots, his first open title, the second major and fourth majors of the year. Scheffler took a four-shot lead at the start of the day and maintained that lead and won four games with Harris English.
Chris Gotterup finished third one week after winning the Scottish Open. Home favorite Rory McIlroy completed the T-7.

Scheffler is still in control of nine
Schaffler had a five-leading lead in half of the final round of the open championship. He rebounded in the 9th birdie after the double bogey in No. 8. Chris Gotterup is currently ranked second.
