Watch: Socal Firefighters Save Eli’s Life, Eli

Firefighters in Orange County conducted rescues when a 20-year-old ule named Eli appeared among the Earl.

The Orange County Fire Department captured videos of Operation Trabuco Canyon last week. The agency said on X. Station 18 that Eli was experiencing life-threatening colic and Eli stepped in when Mule’s owner couldn’t get him to stand up.

The video shows the level of the horse squirming and struggling while the firefighter, and the vet helps him. Then a group of firefighters tied up Eli, flipped him, and hung him up using a rescue device called Bipod.

OCFA spokesman Sean Doran said the device was also used to pour into upside-down tanks during World War I.

“It has incredible abilities and strength,” he said. “These horses are obvious, or are mismatched in this case.”

Firefighters pulled Eli out of the stable and stood up. After a while, he returned to his stable, where he did better.

According to the University of Minnesota, horses and other horses are naturally prone to colic. The university says having animals move around can help relieve pain. Dolan said Erie lay down, unable to pass through food and had a risk of compression of its organs. He said that if he didn’t have an upright hanging, the colic could be fatal.

Dolan said he watched the rescues that took place on Friday and visited Ellie again on Sunday. He talks with one of the owners, an animal lover, who have almost all the lives of Eli, almost all the ule ule. He said everything about rescue was “good, pure kindness.”

He also said OCFA firefighters have been trained to perform large animal rescues with horses. In addition to routine rescue skills, they learn how to get in touch with horses and explain how to treat them according to circumstances.

“It’s a seamless teamwork,” he said.
