TCL’s 60-phone series uses 108-megapixel camera extension, larger battery

The TCL 60 series phones are expanding, and the company revealed its Monday announcement at the 2025 mobile conference. TCL highlights its plans internationally for low-cost phone models with 108-megapixel main cameras, with more NXTPaper displays showing analog numbers and a large 5,200mAh battery with 18W wired charging.
The TCL 60 series debuted in January at CES 2025, with the $200 TCL 60 XE NXT Paper5G heading to the U.S. market later this year. The TCL 60 XE will be added via TCL’s NXTPaper device and several variants of phones with traditional displays, which will be released in Asian, European and Latin American markets.

TCL 60 SE NXT Paper 5G.
The TCL 60 SE NXT Paper 5G has a 6.7-inch display, a 5,200 mAh battery, supports AI tools like the Writing Assistant, IP54 rating for splash and dust resistance, and 18GB of memory paired with 256GB of storage. The phone costs 189 euros, which converts to about $195.
The TCL 60 NXT Paper (without any other letter name) has a slightly larger 6.8-inch display, a 108-megapixel main camera (which we rarely see in these price ranges) and up to 512GB of internal storage. Like the SE phone, it will also include 18GB of memory and a 5200mAh battery. The call will cost 199 euros.
The entire TCL 60 series was unveiled at MWC 2025.
TCL’s non-NXT paper equipment costs from 109 euros to 169 euros. The lower end of this price range is the TCL 605, which has 128GB of storage, a 50-megapixel main camera and a 5200mAh battery. The high-end ones are the TCL 60 5G and the TCL 60 SE. The 60 SE has a 6.67-inch display, a 50-megapixel main camera, 8GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The 60 5G (without any other letters) gets a 6.8-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, runs on a Mediatek Dimente 6300 processor and has 6GB of RAM as well as 256GB of storage.
While most of these phones haven’t come to the U.S., this lineup does give some hints about what might happen on phones that cost $200 and other phone companies. The phone battery in these low-cost phones has been kept at 5,000mAh over the past few years (usually for a full day) – but companies like this one like OnePlus In more expensive phones, these capabilities begin to improve these capabilities. It is very promising to see low-cost devices start to increase battery capacity.
