Macron provides French support after the vehicle enters the German crowd

French President Emmanuel Macron secured his country’s support for Germany after crashing into the crowd in the southwestern city of Mannheim on Monday, killing at least two people.

“For all people in Mannheim, especially relatives to victims of such violence, to relatives to the German people: France is by your side,”

The so-called perpetrator is a 40-year-old German citizen who is in custody. The incident has not been posted by authorities in the attack, and they say they are still investigating his motives.
