Travis Kelce hints back to another NFL season: “feeling young”

Travis Kelce After the upcoming NFL season, it is widely believed that he will hang up his cleats, but the Kansas City Chiefs said tightly that he still has a lot of gas left in the tank.

Kelce, 35, currently has one year left on his contract with the Chiefs before his season opener with Kansas City in Brazil’s media on Thursday, Sept. 4 against Los Angeles Chargers in Sao Paulo on Friday, Sept. 5.

“I’ll tell you, I feel young, I’m ready to rock, baby,” Kells said when asked if the upcoming year will be his “last dance.”

Chief quarterback Patrick MahomesThose who joined Kelce for the press conference couldn’t help but comment on Kelce’s slim physique.

“I mean, look at how loose that shirt is,” said Mahomes, 29. “He looks great.”

Kells smiled and said, “This happened even closer last year.”

The Chiefs superstar is committed to renting a house in Boca Raton, Florida, where he makes fitness a priority.

A noticeably thin Kelce discussed his weight loss at Chiefs’ Little Training Camp in June and responded to a report saying he lost 25 pounds.

“First of all, I never said that,” Kells said. “Don’t believe everything you read on the internet, guys. OK?”

However, Kelce does admit that he “had lost a certain amount of weight since the end of last season.”

“There are different people every year,” Kells told reporters. “You have to rebuild it. This year, there’s some time really focusing on some form of run, and early in the offseason, I didn’t have time last year. Of course it felt good, and I think it would pay off.”

There are speculations that Kelce will retire after losing to the Philadelphia Eagles in February at Super Bowl Lix, but the nervous finale announced his return later that month.

“I think the biggest thing is that I love playing football,” Kells said in the March ‘New Heights’ podcast. “I love playing games and I still feel like I can play at a high level. I’ve got my guys to help them more in many moments that disappoint me than I do, especially when you look at my trail and past situations.

The Chiefs and Chargers will be launched on the NFL YouTube channel and NFL+ on Friday, September 5 at 8 p.m.
