AHL, Team Raised $8.4 million for Charity in 2024-25 | theahl.com

Springfield, Massachusetts. …The American Hockey League announced today $8.4 million AHL and its 32 member clubs have raised donations during the 2024-25 season to donate to various charities and relief funds across North America.

In addition to the funds raised, the AHL team has also given back to the local community through numerous activities, including more than 1,000 visits by players and coaches to schools, hospitals, libraries and other locations, as well as more than 2,300 mascot appearances. More than 140,000 game tickets were donated to local charities, such as food, winter clothing, holiday gifts and hockey equipment, collected in various drives organized by the AHL club.

Operated since 1936, with franchise in 32 cities in North America, the American Hockey League is the top development league for players, coaches, managers, executives and broadcasters for all 32 national hockey league teams. Nearly 90% of today’s NHL players are graduates from the American Hockey League.
