Trying to explain the concept of an award ceremony to anyone under the age of 25 is like trying to explain string theory. For the Z family, this is completely incomprehensible. They can’t understand why something like this exists or why someone would watch it.

Sydney Sweeney is there for 15-year-old Owen Cooper puberty. There is no doubt that he will get many high fives from his friends this morning. But not for rewards.
Any star has had such an awards show impact since Jennifer Lawrence and her infamous green sheer dress. Although Sydney Sweeney’s swagger rarely makes Gen Z sit at awards ceremony stupid things, at least they share clips of her stage walk on social media.
Maybe that’s the way forward for award performances. They can act as celebrity modeling runways, a place for influential influencers to show off their assets, hoping to attract advertising sponsorship.
It seems Sydney Sweeney will attract all the hottie in all jeans ads in the coming year. Good luck next year, everyone else.
