The groom’s oak in the German forest has been connected for more than a century
Eutin, Germany (AP) – On the Tinder in the forests of northern Germany is wood, the groom’s oak has connected lovers for more than a century.
The groom’s oak tree is known in German as “Bräutigamseiche” and has been used as a mailbox since 1892. It even has its own postal code in the Dodau forest about 250 kilometers (155 miles) north of Berlin.
The mailing carrier of the German Post Service is Cupid, with 50 to 60 letters to Notor every month. They had to climb a ladder to reach the 25m (82ft) tree mailbox about 3m (10ft) tree mailbox on the 25m (82ft) tree well, which has been around for more than 500 years.

“The pen pal relationship that arises even leads to several marriages,” the post office said.
According to the Postal Service, oak was first used as a pathway between Linster’s daughter and Leipzig’s chocolate manufacturer. Forest Linlin initially opposed courtship, so the couple left love letters to each other in Knothole.
They were eventually married under the oak leaves in 1892 by the Forester.
