90s horror comedy you need to revisit during Halloween

By Drew Dietsch | publishing

I think (no humility about it), the best horror is the anthology horror. It captures the frightening stories told by the bonfire party, and Halloween season is a great time to enjoy this. Specifically, here I review the horror anthology from the 1990s, which should be regarded as outstanding in both the decade and the subcategory: The story of the hood. Deliberate improvisation The story of the basementdirector Rusty Cundieff rotates the anthology horror mode to a story that focuses on black life and fear.

I’m sure at least one Braindead Dotard was reading this book and screamed immediately: “Wake up!” They were losers (as always) when they gathered more flaky green shells on their hips, because The story of the hood Provides some delightful demonic yarns that are creatively satisfying and have a moral mindset that defines their inspiration, the old story of EC Comics horror. Each story has an information and something worth learning, while also making sure you pay the bill on all the horror movies.

A surrounding story The story of the hood In a creepy morgue run by character actor Clarence Williams III, drug purchases are centered around three gang members. Sims uses the body to tell the boys those titular stories in his funeral home. Everyone looks at different social problems – police, domestic abuse, systemic ills of racist politicians, creating violence in the black community while giving up stories with all the genres of a good EC comic book.

Every story has its own excellent elements. For example, David Alan Grier has appeared with “The Boy Is Really Bruised” and you would never think he is known for being a comedian. It was a reasonable shocking performance and still one of his best performances. You can also make Corbin Bernsen a racist Southern Senator, attacked by a black doll for a period that must make the Charles Band and Glee blush. Not to mention the incredible transformation that Clarence Williams III became Mr. Sims. Whenever he is on the screen, he is an atomic bomb for entertainment. I was frustrated that we didn’t get Mr. Sims for a few years played by Clarence Williams III because he was a horror host like Crypt Keeper himself.

Short, sweet and sinister

The story of the hood Just like any anthology movie, you will enjoy certain segments more than other movies. But, I wouldn’t say there’s a real fool in the entire lineup. The last story “Hardcore Switch” is probably the weakest, but once you realize its true direction, it’s all part of the plan. Every segment feels as good as you can, and every story has the big splash page moment you want if you read this book in a comic book.

The story of the hood It is one of the best horror films of the 1990s and the real champion of the anthology horror films. Hopefully this retro review will put it on someone’s radar because it’s much better than Rotten Tomatoes that will make you believe. Let’s see if this review doesn’t solve this serious error.
