The opening ceremony of the Ryder Cup was held. Due to the weather

Farmingdale, NY – Inclement weather in the forecast forces Ryder Cup officials to move the opening ceremony one day to Wednesday at Bethpage Black.
The grand opening event is usually Thursday afternoon, during which the captain announced their lineup at the first session on Friday.
Now, the ceremony, hosted by Today co-host Carson Daly and sports journalist and former Miss America Kira Dixon, will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m., when players enter the arena to feature big names. Those with Thursday tickets will be allowed to use on Wednesday.
The pairing of the four-person group on Friday’s opening ceremony will still be announced Thursday afternoon.
