The move is because the Data Golf website ranks all 132 potential pairs on each side, and the Morikawa-English combination is 132nd. The ranking was verified before the defeat on Friday morning, while Morikava and the Brits did not compete in the four-goal match late Friday.
But does Bradley’s team have different data? Is the decision based on feelings?
He said there were both phone calls.
“They were really upset because they lost the game today,” Bradley said. “They were eager to re-enter the class, which is why we did it.”
Will Bradley deviate from his plan, though?
