People pay millions of dollars

Guests are paying millions of dollars for a meal and meeting Donald Trump for a special event at Mar-a-Lago Estate in Palm Beach, Florida.

Based on direct knowledge of the meeting, business leaders can have one-on-one meetings with Mar-A-Lago’s president for $5,000,000. At the recently called candlelight dinner last Saturday, guests in Margrago were asked to spend $1 million to book seats, according to an invitation received by Wired.

The invitation reads: “Invite you to the candlelight dinner by special guest Donald J. Trump.” Title. Maga Inc or Make America Great Inc is a super PAC that supports Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign. “Other details provided by RSVP. RSVP will be based on a first come first served basis. Space is very limited. $1,000,000 per person.”

The invitees were asked to hand over the RSVP to Meredith O’Rourke, who served as a senior adviser to Donald J. Trump on the campaign committee, and owner of O’Rourke Group, who described it as a “Republican political fundraiser” on its LinkedIn page. The invitees were also directed to send an email to Abby Mathis, financial coordinator at Maga Inc. Mathis was formerly a staff assistant to Alabama Senator Tommy Tuberville, a former Auburn football coach who also interned in the White House office of staff secretary.

O’Rourke and Mathis did not immediately respond to requests for comment, nor did the White House.

The invitation specifically noted: “Donald J. Trump appears only as a featured spokesperson, not asking for funds or donations.” The event took place at 7:00 pm on March 1 and was listed as the “Maga Inc. Candlelight Financial Dinner” on the president’s official schedule. This is the only event on Trump’s official timeline since he took office.

Pro-Trump digital creator Michael Solakiewicz posted photos of the event on Instagram. The Wired also watched photos and videos of Elon Musk on Mar-a-Lago on the next day with his son X, a charity event called Wine Women & Shoes, which also featured Trump.

“It’s everyone else who missed the ship,” Trump World source said of the meeting. He refers to the Trump agenda. Sources have pointed specifically at the tech industry, and executives have scrambled to show loyalty to the new government. X owner Elon Musk in particular spent at least $260 million to elect Trump, while other tech companies and executives jointly donated millions to Trump’s inauguration: Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Amazon executive chairman Jeff Bezos, Meta, Meta, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Mark Zuckerberg, Uber, Uber Ceo Dara Khosrowsrowsrowshai Ceo $1000, $1000.

A source familiar with them said the $5 million one-on-one meeting has become a “hot ticket” in the business community.
