Oil flow from Russia to the Czech Republic was interrupted again
PRAGUE (AP) – Oil transport from Russia to the Czech Republic has been stopped, said Tuesday.
It is not clear why oil was stopped through pipelines, the only person who shipped oil from Russia to the country. The supply problem would not be expected as the Czechs moved from dependence on Moscow.
The Czech Republic also has three months of reserves.

This is the second delivery recently interrupted. The last time was in December.
The Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary are the only European Union members still from Russian oil. After Moscow’s full invasion of Ukraine in 2022, 24 other people stopped buying as part of EU sanctions.
The Czechs announced in January that they had completed a project to end the country’s dependence on delivering goods from Russia, after investing about $60 million to double the capacity of the Italian TAL pipeline to 8 million tons per year. A branch of the pipeline continues until IKL travels through Germany to serve the Czech Republic or the Czechs.
The state company that oversees the Czech Republic pipeline network said it has completed testing of the pipeline and can be used immediately when needed.
