Okay, let’s talk about it. I’ve said it here many times, and I know some people in the comments tend to agree, that I think Hailey is running a very long con. I said a while back that I thought she infiltrated the families of Danny Dupree (Karla Mosley) and Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett) with the intention of tearing them apart and causing problems.

However, I wonder if Haley infiltrated the family to exact some sort of revenge on Bill, since we know he has no morals and no scruples. I wonder if he did something bad to someone in Haley’s family, but no, after her conversation with Randy, nothing was that interesting. Haley is just there for the Benjamins.

Uncovering Haley’s Long Scam: A Plot of Profit, Not Revenge

She and Randy had been running a scam. Haley is the main character, but Randy is always assisting her. I would say that this seems like a big nuisance for Bill. It took Haley over a year to get in there, get close to her family, have a relationship with Bill, get him to leave Dani, and finally marry her. It was a long-term effort, and he just happened to decide to buy a $10 million life insurance policy. This was not a well thought out scam and took too long. Haley may have committed three or four other crimes during the same time period.

Even Randy told Haley it took quite a while – the whole Bill thing was a mess. Not only that, but how do you pull off a scam like this over and over in your own backyard? She had a driver’s license and a passport, but she was clearly sitting where she came from. Haley is talking about other identities and stuff. Meanwhile, Randy is her cousin. Just to remind you, he was good friends with the recently deceased Doug McBride (Jason Graham), ever since they were students, at least going back to high school. But if I remember the dialogue, it was even earlier than high school.

Since he and Randy are so close, can we assume Doug has never met his cousin Haley or whatever her name is? Since Doug grew up around the DMV, that means Randy grew up around the DMV too. Presumably, Hailey did the same. I feel like this is a huge, huge plot flaw unless they lay it out and explain it for us. Maybe Randy and Haley are distant cousins ​​and she didn’t grow up in the DMV, and maybe Randy told Haley, “Hey, come over here. There are a lot of rich fools here and you can do your thing here.”

Anyway, this week, Randy and Haley’s “Kill Bill for Life Insurance” plan runs into some trouble. If you remember, Haley asked Randy to get her some kind of drug, a toxin, a poison that would kill Bill. She put it in a cupcake and told him it was gluten-free, sugar-free, etc., basically to explain why it tasted like garbage. But Bill exchanged it, and he had a delicious full-fat cupcake. Naomi takes a big bite of something poisonous, and then Haley freaks out and snatches it away, swatting it away.

Just after that, Naomi made a surprise trip to the hospital to tell Ashley Morgan (Jenn Jacobs) that she suspected she was pregnant and took a home pregnancy test. “Oh, these are really accurate,” Ashley said. It didn’t make sense for Naomi to go to the hospital and get a blood pregnancy test because she wasn’t going to receive prenatal care. She is seeking to terminate her pregnancy. It just doesn’t quite fit the plot. That’s why I suspect this test will tie into Haley’s plot to kill Bill and cash that big insurance check.

From blood tests to betrayal: Will lab results reveal toxins?

Ashley told Naomi that the pregnancy test wasn’t coming anytime soon because it was routine and Ashley couldn’t rush it because it wasn’t urgent. There are still two weeks until the November draw begins on November 30th. Therefore, these test results may come back during the November cleaning. Ashley once again said she can’t rush things. This is not urgent. So she went ahead and took Naomi in for testing, and I wondered if something was going on that would cause alarm.

That doesn’t mean Naomi will immediately think, “Oh, it must be from that cupcake.” Another question is whether something Hailey put in the cupcake could have caused Naomi to miscarry. Can fake miscarriages actually cause real miscarriages? That’s crazy.

Naomi and Jacob Hawthorne (Gibrey Hodges) were arguing this week, with Naomi once again making it clear that she really doesn’t want the baby and reminding Jacob that he knows she never wanted one, which he said he didn’t mind. Having just killed off Doug, I don’t think the writers are actually going to kill off Bill. Plus, with Haley now plotting murder, it seems like her time may be up. Then again, she might have gotten away with it, since Dana “Leslie” Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) never paid the price for trying to kill Laura. beyond the gate. So, we’ll see how things go.

The storyline seemed weird to me, as Naomi jumped up after eating some tainted cupcakes and decided she needed to take a blood pregnancy test. Then again, why take another test when she pretty much told Jacob and Danny she probably wasn’t going to continue the pregnancy? If Naomi were to terminate her pregnancy, they would go to an abortion clinic for a check-up before proceeding with the procedure. She does not need to go to the hospital to receive any type of prenatal care or care before terminating the pregnancy. That’s not usually how things work.

So, we’ll see. But depending on the drugs Randy and Haley used in the cupcakes, Naomi might lose the baby before she decides to end her pregnancy once and for all. However, whatever the outcome, miscarriage or not, I do think Ashley’s blood test on Naomi might come back to bite Hailey in her perky little ass.
