Follow these tips to hit low pitches with ease

We all love to hit a high ball that floats like a butterfly and stops immediately, but you’re better off hitting it lower so you can control the trajectory and get the ball to bite hard when it hits the ground. This is a relatively reliable blow.
The key to hitting the ball low is to catch the ball super cleanly and control the low point of the swing arc.

Here’s how to do it.
Take any wedge, set it up like you would any golf course, and then take your tracking hand off the club and put it behind your back, like you see me do here. Now, just practice your swing back and forth with your forearms, brushing the grass in the same spot every time. IMPORTANT TIP: With every swing, keep your forearms straight and in line with the club shaft. Also, check that your wrists are flat and not overly bent or bent.
If you master these positions, the ball will come off the clubface with plenty of spin and a low trajectory—easy to control, allowing for a nice up-and-down motion. Try different wedge lofts to shorten the distance and make easier putts to save par.
