The Star Trek: Enterprise theme song doesn’t have to be bad, and we fixed it

By Joshua Taylor | Published

Star Trek: Enterprise is a show that has gotten better with age, but one thing that hasn’t gotten better with time is the show’s theme song. From the moment the series was released it was hated and reviled, and even today it is still despised by the show’s biggest fans.

Fortunately, we found a solution. Giant Freakin Robot has teamed up with the Scott Bakula Band to create a new version of the show’s seminal theme song, “Where My Heart Will Take Me.” This is our new version.

Originally, the theme was a riff on the Rod Stewart song “Faith of the Heart” but was modified and re-recorded for the show by Russell Watson. Our version ditches all that and turns it into a hard-hitting metal song.

If you think we’ve improved it, please leave a comment on X and let us know.
