When will Alcaraz, Sinner compete for the first time at Nitto ATP Finals?

Carlos Alcaraz will play on Sunday and Jannik Sinner will play on Monday to start their Nitto ATP Finals.

Alcaraz will face Alex De Minaur in the first singles match of the tournament on Sunday, and two-time champion Alexander Zverev will face debutant Ben Shelton in the evening.

Alcaraz enters the season finals as the top seed and is in pole position in the race for the year-end ATP No. 1 spot presented by PIF Honors. The Spaniard must score more than 450 points to claim the year-end top spot in Turin. The 22-year-old leads De Minaur 4-0 in the Lexus ATP Head2Head Series, including two wins this season.

Sinner will begin his title defense against Felix Auger-Aliassime or Lorenzo Musetti on Monday night. Musetti will qualify for the Nitto ATP Finals if he defeats Novak Djokovic in the Athens final. If Djokovic wins, Auger-Aliassime will qualify and play Sinner on Monday.

Seven-time Nitto ATP Finals winner Djokovic begins his pursuit of an eighth title at the year-end tournament on Monday afternoon against 2024 finalist Taylor Fritz.
