Griffin signs Tokarski for workout | TheAHL.com

Grand Rapids Griffins sign goaltender Dustin Tokarski Professional Trial Contract.

A 16-year pro, Tokarski appeared in 444 career AHL games with a 227-154-41 record, a 2.58 goals-against average, a .910 save percentage and 30 shutouts. Among AHL goaltenders, he ranks 9th all-time in wins, 8th all-time in shutouts, and 13th all-time in games played. In the 2024-25 season, he played 21 games for the AHL Chicago Wolves and 6 games for the NHL Carolina Hurricanes.

Tokarski won Calder Cup titles with Norfolk in 2012 and Charlotte in 2019, compiling a 20-7 record, 1.85 GAA and .932 save percentage in 30 AHL playoff games.

The Humboldt, Saskatchewan native was drafted by Tampa Bay in the fifth round of the 2008 NHL Draft and played 86 games in the NHL with the Lightning, Canadiens, Ducks, Sabers, Penguins and Hurricanes.
