Kody Brown No problem with removing his facial hair – as long as it means more kisses from his wife Robin Brown.
Robin, 47, revealed on the show on Sunday, November 16 sister wives Cody’s mustache and beard make kissing him “painful,” which is exactly what the 56-year-old needed to make a change.
“If it went away, would I get kissed more?” Cody asked his wife, who responded, “Yes.”
Robin admitted that Cody’s beard made her feel like she was kissing “a vegetable scrubber in the kitchen sink.” “I’m getting poked all the time. It’s so uncomfortable,” she told the camera.
Meanwhile, Cody quickly gave in to Robin’s needs, telling the camera: “I have to shave off my beard so I get kissed more.”
After declaring “We’re shaving now,” Cody double-checked that if he had a clean shave, he’d be rewarded.
“Promise me we’ll make out like teenagers. I promise you [it] You won’t bother me,” Cody told Robin as he took out his razor and started trimming his beard.
When Cody shaved off his beard, leaving only a goatee on his chin, Robin couldn’t help but faint.
“Oh, look at that jawline. I haven’t seen it in a while,” Robin said, flirting with her husband. “I think he looks younger. He looks good.”
Robin and Cody both felt dizzy while kissing in the bathroom. “I’m gonna get kissed now, man. Kiss for Cody,” he said in a confessional.
“Hi,” Robin told Cody cheekily between kisses. “I like!”
She told viewers Cody was looking “much better” and gushed about how happy she was with his new look. “Oh, my gosh. It’s like, ‘Yeah, let’s make out. That would be great,'” Robin added.
While Robyn revealed she prefers Cody to be clean shaven, her former sister wives have mixed feelings about facial hair.
“Some people say that kissing a man without a beard is like eating an egg without salt.” Christine Brown said in a confessional, hinting that she was a fan of men with beards. (Christine’s husband, David WoolleyShe got married in October 2023 and has a mustache and goatee. )

Janelle BrownFor her part, she said she doesn’t have “strong views” on the topic. “I know I don’t want to look too much, I’m not really into facial hair or anything, but I think it depends on the person,” she shared.
as sister wives As fans know, Cody has had four previous wives. He married Meri, 54, in 1990 and then entered into spiritual unions with Janelle, 56, and Christine, 53, in 1993 and 1994 respectively. Robin joined the polygamous family in 2010.
Kody later divorced Meri in 2014, legally married Robin and adopted her three children from a previous marriage. He and Meri remained in a spiritual marriage until Meri confirmed in January 2023 that they had parted ways.
Kody and Meri’s split comes after Kristen left Kody in November 2021 and Janelle announced their separation in December 2022.
While Robyn and Kody have been going through a rough patch in their family reunion, she revealed on Sunday’s show that their romance is back.
“because [the] “Other wives, you know, I’m always very careful,” Robin told the camera about her PDA use. “Cody and I don’t show affection in public, but now that it’s just the two of us, we flirt a lot.”
