Days of Our Lives: Rachel’s Creepy EJ Shooting Memories – Straight to Baby Bayview?

days of our lives Soon, Rachel Black (Alice Halsey) has recovered all memories of the night she shot her uncle EJ DiMera (Dan Ferrigal). When she does, evil little Rachel may have a nervous breakdown.
We discuss whether her grandmother Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and her father Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) can save Rachel when she remembers shooting EJ.
Days of Our Lives: Is Rachel having a breakthrough?
It looks like Rachel is about to remember that she pulled the trigger that fateful night when EJ was shot. Six months ago, we revealed she was the shooter before it was revealed. The press office that day was angry with me for breaking the news so early that Rachel almost killed EJ. Of course, Kristen DiMera (Stacey Haiduk) takes responsibility in order to protect her daughter. She, EJ and Marlena all hope Rachel never remembers what happened, but that seems unlikely.
The secret behind EJ’s shooting and Kristen’s confession on DOOL
The fifth-grade kid began to recall bits and pieces of the night EJ was shot. When Rachel testified in court, she distinctly remembered seeing her cousin Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) threatening his father, E.J., with a gun. The memory was an important part of the prosecution in Johnny’s attempted murder trial. It wasn’t until EJ performed several hypnotherapy sessions with Dr. Marlena that he realized who had pulled the trigger.
EJ is shocked to recall that his niece Rachel was the one with the gun, and she shot him with Roman Brady’s (Josh Taylor) gun that Johnny left behind. EJ and Marlena were both shocked, and then they told Kristen the news, who was also stunned. She begged her brother EJ, “Please don’t report Rachel.” But EJ had to tell Kristen, “Listen, I can’t let Johnny go to jail for shooting me.” So in a powerful display of a mother’s selfless love, Kristen did the right thing for once in her life by rushing into the courtroom and pleading guilty.
Unfortunately, she doesn’t hit the traffic jam because if she had arrived five minutes later, Leo Stark (Greg Rikart), who is the jury foreman, would have read the jury’s verdict that found Johnny not guilty. She didn’t even have to plead guilty or go to jail. But Kristen’s identity as the shooter made sense to the judge and District Attorney Belle Black (Martha Madison), and Kristen admitted it. So there wasn’t even a trial. They had just had a small sentencing conference and Brady asked for the maximum sentence she could get.
After days of family turmoil, Rachel’s memories begin to disintegrate
From that point on, Rachel really, really struggled. She had to testify against Johnny in court and she felt extremely guilty. Rachel worries that she will be the reason Johnny goes to jail. After Kristen’s confession, Brady wants Rachel to have nothing to do with her anymore. And he didn’t want to either. He thinks Christine is terrible, not only because she shot EJ, but because she then stood by and let their daughter go through the absolute hell of testifying against her cousin Johnny in court. This all happened because Brady didn’t know Rachel was the real shooter because Kristen swore Marlena and EJ to secrecy.
Marlena says Rachel may still remember that night and says Rachel’s mind is protecting her now, but it looks like that feeling is starting to fade away. These little things brought back bits and pieces of Rachel’s memory. It looks like it’s all about to break free in a big, big way. Recently, at Tom Horton’s (Zach Chizzy) free clinic evening, Rachel overheard EJ and Will Horton (Chandler Massey) recalling the time when Lucas Horton (Brian Dattilo) admitted to shooting EJ, but not fondly, more in an accusatory way, when his son actually shot EJ. Weir said Weir would still be behind bars in Statesville if his father, Lucas, hadn’t taken the blame when he was innocent.
Days of Our Lives: Does Rachel Have Memory?
The look on Rachel’s face was funny. Realization seemed to dawn on her. You can see the wheels turning in her twisted little head. Coupled with EJ scolding her for letting Thomas (Christopher Cary) do naughty things, it really made Rachel doubt herself.
If you still remember or haven’t seen it the days we live inEJ told her that she needed to leave Thomas alone and not try to get her cousin to do bad things. EJ says Thomas is not like you and me, which means Thomas is fine, and EJ admits that he and Rachel are different.

A look at Rachel Black’s manipulative and disturbing behavior on DOOL
We all know Rachel tortured every woman her father Brady ever dated in the hope that he would get back with Kristen. Now that Rachel’s mom is in jail, Brady certainly despises her. He tried to restrict Rachel from visiting the prison with her mother. Luckily for Kristen and Rachel, Marlena has been very vocal in advocating for Brady to keep Kristen in Rachel’s life and allow visitation, because of course she knows Kristen is innocent. But now, everything is about to come crashing down for Rachel, Kristen and Brady.
First, Christine is kidnapped. That’s coming later this week, early next week. Rachel will lose her mind when she discovers Kristen is missing. Rachel might hear some breaking news, some story about an inmate escaping from Statesville, and that inmate is Christine. Rachel will probably be very shocked and confused. She probably wants Kristen to escape so she can find her. Of course, Brady gets stressed out when he hears Kristen runs away. Brady may have thought his murderous brother, Kristen, was here to steal his daughter.
Days of Our Lives: Rachel’s memories triggered
The next thing that could trigger the memory of Rachel holding a weapon and shooting EJ could be something innocent like a loud bang and, you know, the car backfiring. Rachel can hear balloons popping at the party, and she flashes back to DiMera’s mansion, gun in hand. Or Marlena has a sudden health scare at the party, which worries Rachel that, you know, it might trigger something. The full pressure of it might bring everything back to the forefront.
Rachel is seeing a therapist, but even in those sessions, she doesn’t remember shooting EJ. I also question whether that therapist was actually doing Rachel any good because that kid was naughty and she was very manipulative. She has no regrets about anything she has done. She only gets frustrated when she gets caught. So, she might play the role of therapist like the violin Brady picked.
Rachel recently told Thomas that Kate Green (AnnaLynn McCord) and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) were dating, with Kate pretending to be his dead mother Abigail Devereaux (AnnaLynn McCord). If you remember, Rachel did this to upset Thomas because he beat her in a game of Monopoly.
This is why she ruined Thomas’ life. She’s a little monster because Rachel goaded Thomas into throwing pumpkins at cats during the Horton Town Panic. Then Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) gets shot instead. Rachel is always stirring the pot. She is a troublemaker in the eyes of her teacher, Jeremy Horton (Trevor Donovan).
Looming breakdown: Will Rachel Black commit?
Clearly, Marlena and Brady will do their best to protect Rachel. But Marina was getting weaker and weaker. So I think at the end of “The Sweep,” as filming is revealed, we’re going to get some emotional scenes between Rachel, Marlena, and Brady. Once Rachel’s memory returned, our leaker says she was thrown into a huge spiral.
Brady and Marlena may have to make the heart-wrenching decision to send Rachel to the baby wing of catatonic teen mom Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd), who just arrived. Jeremy may play a key role in getting Rachel the help she needs, especially if Jeremy sees Rachel acting unhinged or having a meltdown at school. We’re counting down the days to the final episodes of Alice Halsey’s Rachel Black before she potentially leaves our screens for good.
