Flyers acquire Guynett, Senators acquire GilbertTheAHL.com

Philadelphia Flyers acquire restricted free agent guard Maxson Gainette Traded defenseman from Ottawa Senators Dennis Gilbert.
The Flyers and Gatenette have agreed to a one-year, two-way contract.
The 24-year-old Gatenette was selected by the Senators in the seventh round of the 2019 NHL Draft. In his first four professional seasons, he played 236 games with the AHL’s Belleville Senators, scoring 27 goals and 89 assists for 116 points, and served as an alternate captain in the 2024-25 season.
Guenette also appeared in eight NHL games with Ottawa.
Gilbert has played in six games with the AHL Lehigh Valley Phantoms this season and contributed one assist. In the 2024-25 season, he contributed 6 assists in 29 NHL games between Buffalo and Ottawa.
An eight-year pro, Gilbert played 194 games in the AHL, recording 15 goals and 43 assists for 58 points. In 111 career NHL games, Gilbert has three goals and 17 assists. He was selected by Chicago in the third round of the 2015 NHL Draft.
