What’s in her CME Group Tour Championship bag

World No. 1 Jeeno Thitikul completed her dominant LPGA season by defending her title at the CME Group Tour Championship with her third win of the season.
As far as specs go, Thitukul’s setup is pretty cool and you’ll be immediately drawn to it when you see the swing weights on her driver and 3-wood. Their clocks are C4.4 and C6 respectively!
Yes, at just 5-foot-4, Tikul is on the smaller side of the LPGA Tour players, but swing weights don’t drop below D0 or C9 very often on the LPGA. Thitikul’s driver is 5.5 points below that, and even more bizarrely her next club, the Callaway Apex UW, is a D1.5, and then all of her irons and wedges are D2, a more typical swing weight.

Then, for her irons, Thitikul has a very powerful loft combo set consisting of the Callaway X Forged Star and X Forged ’25 irons. You’d be forgiven if you don’t recognize the X Forged Star irons. They have a larger chassis size than standard models and are only available in Asian markets, making them a good choice for longer irons to maintain ball speed.
Loft angles in this part of Thitkul’s bag also look pretty tight, at 19 degrees on her UW, 20.5 degrees on her 4-iron, and 22.5 degrees on her 5-iron. But at the highest levels of competition like the LPGA Tour, loft is just a number. The lofts may be tight, but they work well for Titicourt as she is able to get the distance she needs on her fly balls.
The same goes for her bottom corner, which is not in half-degree increments. Instead, some of her lie angles were the same on different clubs, while others jumped out a bit or more. We saw this with U.S. Open champion JJ Spaun. Kudos to the Callaway Tour team for working with Thitikul to optimize each club based on the way she swings and the way she wants to see the ball fly.
In addition to the wedges, Thikul also has a unique set of Shimada K 3001 steel shafts. The Japanese-made shaft is half-stepped and half-tapered, with the same weight for each shaft length.
According to Jake Morrow of GOLF Magazine, “The tapered portion is designed to resist twisting on impact, especially from bad lies like deep rough (ideal for greenside chipping), while the stepped portion makes it feel good in the hand.”

Odyssey Tri-Hot Square 2 Square #7 Custom Putter
We’ve got zero torque going forward. Odyssey’s new S2S TRI-HOT putter series is a revolution in the “zero torque” category. By using a multi-material construction, we are able to move the center of gravity of these putters far enough forward to allow the shaft to enter the clubhead on the top line, eliminating the need for a shaft lean, thus eliminating one of the biggest barriers to entry for this style of putter. Forward CG and Hosel Position By moving the CG forward, we are able to position the hosel locating pin on the top line, closer to the face than a typical “zero torque” putter, resulting in a more natural, intuitive and comfortable setup position. MULTI-MATERIAL CONSTRUCTION By strategically using aluminum, steel and over 140 grams of tungsten, we’ve been able to design a “zero torque” putter that places more than 80% of its weight below the top line and allows us to have a forward center of gravity and socket position. New FRD Grooves This new forward roll design has deeper, more aggressive grooves. It features a 19° slope, which works in conjunction with the dual-layer design to improve forward roll of the face.
