As we’ve done in earlier editions, we discuss what’s going to happen the rest of the week, and then dive into what’s going to happen next week.
Days of Our Lives: Gabby invites Philip over for Thanksgiving
On Wednesday, November 26, Philippe Kiriakis (John Paul Lavoisier) took Gabby Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) on a pre-vacation date. Philip and Gabby meet JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss). You know, Gabby’s recent actions and things are very embarrassing. The really sweet thing, though, is that Gabi will be inviting Philip over to vacation with the Hernandez family. I imagine things are going to be awkward at the Kiriakis mansion.
Elsewhere, Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) gets Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) and Patch (Stephen Nichols) to play a trivia game. I wonder if he’s going to start doing chores at the bar. I love a good round of pub quiz. I wonder who will win. Plus, Jennifer Horton (Kadie McClain) opens up to Julie Williams (Susan Seavers Hayes) and confesses something.
I think Jen may have revealed her plan to take Chad DiMera’s (Billy Flynn) children away from him and go to Boston with them and Jack Devereux (Matthew Ashford). We’ve already seen Jennifer beat up Chad with the custody documents drafted by Justin Kiriakis (Wally Cuse). Chad then leaves suddenly after getting some advice from Jeremy Horton (Trevor Donovan). That’s probably a good thing, but it ends up putting Chad in a very inconvenient situation because by the end of the week something really bad is going to happen to him.
Brady and Sarah get closer on DOOL
Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Sarah Horton (Lindsay Godfrey) have an intimate moment in the hospital before Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) interrupts them. I think he came to check on her. I expected Brady might tell Sarah the horrific truth that Rachel Black (Alice Halsey) was the one who shot EJ DiMera (Dan Ferrigal) and suggest sending Rachel there. bay view Some long-term care and treatment.
So, all they are waiting for is a bed Bay view. and That’s where Rachel is going. Belle Black (Martha Madison) already knows, so I don’t think Brady will hide it from Sarah. Her support for Brady during Rachel’s crisis will bring them closer together. There will be a kissing scene soon. There is more. Xander is going to be really pissed about this.
Thanksgiving in Salem: Family feast and hospital heartbreak
We celebrated Thanksgiving in Salem on Thursday, November 27th. We have Roman and Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) and Patch and Kayla, and Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) and Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) on Brady Bar.
Belle really surprised Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall). It looks like Belle is bringing Thanksgiving dinner to Marina in the hospital since she can’t eat it at home with Belle, Brady, and the others. Marina had just had pacemaker surgery. I do wonder if Bella is going to keep the information from Marlena that she just found out Rachel shot EJ the days we live in. The problem is, Bella doesn’t know that Marlena already knows the secret and has been keeping it a secret for a long time.
Rachel admitted to hospital
Meanwhile, Brady and Tate Black (Leo Howard) are hospitalized. They were at Rachel’s bedside, keeping a close eye on the little girl. she has been admitted University Hospital. She’s being held there until they can get her into a mental health facility, which is going to be very important because Bell has told Brady that at some point, there has to be some kind of legal documentation to prove Kristen DiMera’s (Stacey Haiduk) innocence.
So, Rachel going into a mental health facility might help her get away with, you know, probation, counseling, whatever. Brady feels like a real failure as a father. I think Tate would be frustrated that he missed the signs as Rachel’s brother that this terrible thing had happened. Meanwhile, Alex worries that Stephanie is in danger. I guess they thought Jeremy was after them. As I’ve been saying for a while, this is not Jeremy. He’s just a convenient scapegoat, but another villain from Stephanie’s past.
Post-Thanksgiving shock: DiMera kidnapping and holiday proposal
On Friday, November 28th, we had a house party in the DiMera basement. So Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) and Kristen are already there, unless of course Andre DiMera (also Thaao Penghlis). Chad joined them. He was bagged, tagged, and dumped with his siblings. So we know that after arguing with Jennifer and getting advice from Jeremy, Chad packed his bags and left the Holden house for the Salem Inn. But someone caught him.
Also, it looks like Christine dug up some bones in the cellar, human bones. Not where they should be in the vault. It looked like someone’s body was hidden there, like some kind of body dump. It won’t be long before they’re out of there. Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gerin) will identify the victim. The Hortons notice that Chad is missing on Thanksgiving, and Charlotte DiMera (Olivia and Oakley Landau) tells Grandma Jean that she wants her dad to come home for the holiday. I do wonder if Thomas DiMera (Christopher Cary) and Jennifer, or even Julie, thought Chad was going out with Kate Green (Annalyn McCord).
Days of Our Lives: Gabby invites Philip to dinner
As I said, Gabby invited Phillip and her family to have dinner with her. He is toasting to loyalty and those who stick with you in good times and bad. We have Javi Hernandez (Al Calderon), Leo, Rafe, Arianna Horton (Marissa Reyes), and Felipe and Gabi. Leo made Harvey a special dessert to show his love. Maybe there was a ring in the pie or cake, because it looked like Leo quickly got down on one knee and proposed to Harvey in front of the whole family. Then the wedding planning would begin, because apparently, Harvey would say yes. So we’re going to have a Turkey Day declaration of true love.

The following week, December 1-5, Jennifer and Jack may get their baby by default. They may default to sending Charlotte and Thomas to Boston because of Chad’s absence over the holidays. If he’s gone and no one can find Chad, obviously Justin can make a strong case that by default the kids should go find Jennifer. Now, all we know is that Jack, Jennifer, Thomas, and Charlotte are all reunited with Chad at Horton House for Christmas. So even if they get custody now, you know, they’re not gone forever.
Theo is disappearing from DOOL
Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) is also quickly picked up and thrown into the twisted DiMera family’s cellar reunion. So, I’m just wondering if EJ can also escape being captured since he’s managing other things. Kidnapping these DiMeras men was a huge twist involving a comeback that I don’t think people saw coming. I will tell you more about this in a few days. I have some rumors and some inside information.
EJ reveals his plans to reveal Dr. William Rolfe’s (Richard Wharton) latest medical miracle. If you’ve seen the new promo, it looks like that might be a woman in that big test tube. So, we’ll know more. Stephanie’s stalker continues to pose a threat. She and Alex were looking in exactly the wrong direction. Cat and EJ soon got closer. What starts out as Cat working with EJ to get information on the FBI and ISA case may turn out to be real feelings. But at first, it’s going to be some trickery and deception, but soon there will be a kiss between Cat and EJ.
Bayview’s heartbreak and terrifying new alliance
Rachel was transferred to the pediatric unit Bay view. Brady was devastated when he had to leave Rachel, who screamed and begged her dad to take her home. It’s all very heartbreaking. Sofia shows up at Bayview’s room to hang out with Rachel, but Sofia wants Rachel to keep it a secret because she’s pretending to be catatonic.
It’s a little scary to think of Sophia and Rachel together, as they both have a lot of potential for chaos and evil. We’ll see how it goes. Holly Jonas (Ashley Przemis) is going to cheat on her soon, which really pisses everyone off, but we’ll see what drives her to do it. She’ll soon have a whole new look and a whole new bad attitude.
