Hartford Wolfpack sign forward Daniel Walcott Professional Trial Contract.
Walcott is entering his 11th professional season after spending the past 10 years with the AHL’s Syracuse Crunch. He is the Crunch’s all-time leader, playing 494 games, scoring a total of 56 goals, 91 assists and 147 points.
Walcott contributed two goals and seven assists in 41 playoff games, helping Syracuse reach the 2017 Calder Cup finals.
Walcott, a native of Ile Perrault, Que., is a five-time Syracuse IOA/American Professional AHL Player of the Year and the 2023-24 recipient of the Yanick Dupré Memorial Award.
Walcott was originally drafted by the New York Rangers in the fifth round of the 2014 NHL Draft and made his professional debut with the Wolf Pack on April 19, 2015. He also appeared in one NHL game, making his debut with Tampa Bay in Florida on May 10, 2021.
