Meadow was only 15 years old when her 40-year-old father was killed in a car accident. In the years since, she has celebrated fast and Furious The star’s legacy through social media continues to let fans know that he was more than just a Hollywood star: he was also a great father. (Paul welcomed his only child with his ex-girlfriend in 1998 Rebecca Soteros.)
In May 2020, she admitted via Instagram that remembering the Californian was her “happy place” — but she wished he was still here with her. Five months later, she shared a throwback photo with her father on Instagram and wrote: “Miss you so much. Best friends forever.”
Meadow also founded the Paul Walker Foundation, which pledges to “continue the work Paul started,” according to the organization’s website. “We are focused on his passion and committed to his legacy. He is always in our hearts and we are reminded every day to do good and live like Paul.”
A source told reporters that Meadow remains “proud of her father and goes out of her way to respond to those who write or express their love for him and his work.” US Weekly June 2021. “She paid tribute to him on social media, stayed in touch with important people in his life and generally acted on the advice he gave her while he was alive.”
In 2025, Meadow paid tribute to his father on the 12th anniversary of his death. “12 years without you…I love you forever,” she wrote on Instagram.
